And the park at the western end of that same road is running its usual summer camp roster plus a September ultra that turns Picnic Island into a small tent city for a day.
The through-line, if there is one, is that the club's temporary constraints have pushed daily life outward along Indiantown Road in both directions. Here is what that looks like on the ground right now.
What Phase I Actually Changed About Summer
The multi-year renovation announced this spring is not a cosmetic refresh. Invited Clubs announced a comprehensive reinvestment project at Jupiter Country Club led by internationally acclaimed designer Agustin Pizá, thoughtfully enhancing the existing corridors while introducing a refreshed architectural language that emphasizes strategy, playability, and visual impact. Aspen Golf Construction is leading the on-property work.
The practical piece for members is the phasing. Here is what is closed, what is playable, and when things come back.

The redesign introduces a more expressive and intentional use of bunkering, dynamic angles, and expanded water features, with bunkers strategically positioned using diagonal lines and varied shaping to create both visual movement and distinct shot values. Approach angles you used to take without thinking are the parts most worth relearning.
Hole 3 As The Summer Center Of Gravity
The routing decision is the small detail with the largest daily consequence. When summer play begins on Hole 3, the hole functions less like a single par on a scorecard and more like a staging area for the club's warm-season rhythm. Starter groups, casual walks, twilight rounds, and the between-shots social life of the course all funnel through the corridor that Phase II will eventually touch.
"Opportunities like this are rare," Pizá said of the project, calling it a chance to transform the club into a more strategic, visually compelling and sustainable experience.
For members who prefer to play the full 18 through the transition, the sensible move is to treat this summer as a scouting season. Phase II hits holes 10 through 17 next, and the intuition you build on the current back nine will be worth less by late 2027 than it is right now.
Off the course, the club's non-golf amenities are running normally. The fitness center features Technogym equipment, a Reformer Pilates studio, a refreshed group exercise space, and an indoor turf training area. Sway at the Grand Clubhouse and Cay at the Sports Club continue their usual service, with Sway closed Mondays and running theme night dinner seatings at 5:30, 6, and 6:30 on Thursdays and Fridays.
The Five Miles East Of The Gate
Indiantown Road east of the club is where the summer dining picture has shifted. The most notable arrival sits closer to home than the usual downtown Jupiter drive.
- Casa Tequila at 4177 W Indiantown Road. The new location opened Wednesday, February 4, 2026. Open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, with outdoor seating, delivery, and a menu built around authentic Mexican dishes and oversized margaritas. The location matters. It is the closest full-service sit-down restaurant to the club gate that opened this year.
- Lewis Steakhouse at Indiantown Road and Central Boulevard. Part of the Lewis Family's Okeechobee Prime lineage, serving prime dry-aged steaks with a broad wine list at the corner of Indiantown and Central. Useful when the plan is a proper dinner without the drive to A1A.
- Hooked On Jupiter at 337 E Indiantown Road. Open through 9 p.m. weekdays and 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with a seafood-forward menu and a raw bar.
- Tavolena at 185 E Indiantown Road. Dinner-only Italian, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. nightly.
The reason these are worth grouping is that Indiantown Road has functionally become the club's dining spine for weeknight decisions. Downtown Jupiter and Harbourside are still the destinations for a longer evening. For a Tuesday when the round wrapped later than planned, the corridor between the club and the FEC tracks is a shorter and increasingly credible answer.
The Five Miles West, Before The Heat
Head the opposite direction on Indiantown and the density of restaurants gives way to Riverbend Park at 9060 Indiantown Road. In August, the smart move is to be on the water before 8 a.m., off it by 10, and home before the afternoon storms build.
A typical morning window works something like this:
- Park at the main entrance and walk to the River Pavilion on Picnic Island.
- Launch a rented kayak or canoe from Jupiter Outdoor Center. The park offers direct access to five miles of waterway, ten miles of hiking and biking, and seven miles of equestrian trails.
- Paddle a short loop of the Loxahatchee before the sun climbs. The park has more than ten miles of shady, curvy bicycle trails with gazebos and thatched-roof picnic tables for rest stops.
- Ride the trails back through the oak canopy rather than paddling both directions in the heat.
If you have grandchildren visiting, the camp calendar is already running. Summer Camp 2026 splits time between Riverbend Park and the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area, with paddling, biking, archery, fishing, hiking, and survival skills on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and paddleboarding, snorkeling, and a lighthouse climb on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The park's autumn calendar has one date worth putting on the fridge now. On September 12, 2026, the Riverbend Ultras run 12-hour and 50K formats from the River Pavilion on Picnic Island, with the 50K totaling 31.2 miles across Picnic Island and Riverbend loops. Even if running an ultra is not on the agenda, the park's energy that Saturday is worth the visit, and the trails reopen to normal use by afternoon.
